Peter Cudmore: born and brought up in Gloucestershire, moved to Edinburgh in 1990. Trained as a composer, more recently worked as production editor for Chapman magazine. Contributed to the SAC's traditional music policy development by managing the initial consultation in 1996. Currently working on a PhD called The Social Context of Creativity at Edinburgh University.
