Shore Poets
Originally trained as a composer, on first arriving in Edinburgh Peter was an editorial assistant at Chapman magazine in the early 1990s when the Shore Poets came recruiting.
After leaving Chapman to pursue an academic career, Peter contributed to the SAC's traditional music policy development by managing the initial consultation in 1996.
More recently he has completed a PhD at Edinburgh University, called The Social Context of Creativity. It is an interdisciplinary project with philosophy at its core.
These days, Peter maintains his interest in music by writing for musicalcriticism.com
